The LCC120 Automatic Lazar Chuck Capper is a heavy-duty, self-contained automatic “chuck style” capping system specifically designed to be user friendly with “No Tool” change-over, capable of handling a large variety of containers and caps. This machine comes complete with a 8’ conveyor and variable speed control drive.
Adjustment: The LCC120 “No Tool” design allows the operator to make proper gripping and height adjustments quickly and accurately without the use of tools. Fast and simple machine adjustments are made using crank handles, knobs, and variable motor speed controls.
Speed: The LCC120 is capable of applying up to 30 caps per minute (cpm) of sizes ranging from 83mm to 120mm. Speed is ultimately determined by the container and cap size. Container size can be up to 1.5 gallons.
Function: The LCC120 is equipped with a 5-1/2 cubic feet stainless steel hopper for easy floor loading of the caps. The caps are picked and oriented, and transferred to a Stainless Steel cap chute. At the end of the chute, a specially designed Cap Chute-End holds the caps ready to be placed onto the container. A set of (FDA approved) bottle gripper belts firmly holds the container and conveys it to the Cap Chute-End. The container picks up the cap and transfers it to a unique “Cap Stabilizer”. This “Anti-Cock” device insures proper cap placement of 400 series (shallow threaded) caps. The bottle and cap then moves to a second set of torque wheels that apply the required torque. These wheels are equipped with a heavy duty clutch to prevent over-torquing.

Lazar Cap Elevator Sorter
The LCC120 comes standard with a 12” Cap Elevator Sorter that ranges from 25 to 40 caps per minute. The LCES delivers properly oriented caps via a discharge chute on demand. The caps are elevated and oriented on a special, custom designed belt from the floor level bulk cap hopper. The LCES has an all stainless steel construction, NEMA 4 control panel, fiber optic sensors for feed control, and easy "No Tool" adjustable polycarbonate plastic cap guards, standard on the Model LCES.
Bottle Gripping
The containers are timed and lined up perfectly under the cap chuck using a bottle timer and holder that are specifically made for your container with no operator adjustments required.
Safety Guards
The LCC120 is designed with the maintenance mechanics and line operators in mind. The engineering implements time-tested design with new technological improvements. The “Nothing Hidden” concept employs clear polycarbonate guards allowing a clear view of the machine dynamics. The ability to observe the machine promotes prevention and results in the reduction of total down-time.
